R & J Leather Productions Ltd. is a for-profit company producing shows, contests, and charity events with a monetary benefit for all parties that wish to be involved. Being united and not divided, we feel that involving local 501(c)3 non-profit charities, clubs and organizations with our productions will strengthen the community by enhanc-ing the club network, leather education and awareness to our brotherhood.

"I would like to thank R & J Leather Productions for giving Cleveland and myself the opportunity to compete for the First Ever Mr. Rubber Cleveland 2008. This in itself made new history for Cleveland to be put BACK on the map. With my Title, I look to bridge the straight, gay and fetish worlds, to enlighten everyone that we are all part of the brotherhood in this community. There are bigger wars to fight than fight each other. So by joining together in UNITY, we can all work together to achieve that same goals. As a community, we need to have one unified voice in the world, to spread the education and awareness that even though we are all different, we all walk that same path."

I would like to thank Club X for the opportunity to represent them for the coming year as MR. Club X Leather. I will represent Club X and Sandusky with respect and gratitude. I would also like to thank Flex Baths and R & J Leather Productions for sponsoring this event. A heart felt thanks and respect go out to the 1st runner up. I hope to help in the process of bringing our community to a higher level of unity no matter which community that may be in GLBT. I also hope to help in the education, of what being part of the leather community really means to all generations. Education will help lead us to be a more informed community by networking our brother and sisterhoods.

Also, a special thank you to Ric and James who pulled us all together and brought back our leather community stronger than ever. As the current Mr. Cocktails Cleveland titleholder, I will continue in Daddy Lekc's boot steps in stomping out the injustices in our community and bring us closer together as a family. "Firstly, a mere thank you to R & J Leather Productions and Bryan Lyons, the owner of Mr. Cleveland Leather 2008 and Cocktail's/Daddy's in Cleveland and Akron, OH, seems so very incomplete. If not for the hard work and dedication to the unified leather community in Northeast Ohio, the Revived Mr. Cleveland Leather 2008 contest would not have come to fruition, nor the revitalization of our brotherhood/sisterhood in this state! Yet, humbly, with cover bowed, I say, thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
Secondly, many of us are talking with bullhorns about unity, diversity, inclusion, and respect within our community. But as Mr. Cleveland Leather 2008, I will strive to address these issues within our community, by first, addressing the reasons within our own personalities, that make it even necessary, to address the overall entire community dynamics, in the first place. Every single person in this community is beautiful, regardless! No exceptions! I will continually remind all leathermen and women that you are perfect, just the way in which you are, right now. We continually are beat down from so many outside forces , and with this title and platform, I continually will "lift up" the downtrodden! Once we start feeling better about our selves, our own personalities, and our own uniqueness, we will then be able to see the beautiful qualities in one another, truly becoming a unified force and family. What better success story and eulogy could I write, than that I was a part of this magnificent movement of change for our family? I am deeply honored for your faith in me, and I encourage you to join with me in this cause. I can't change the world, but I can affect my little corner of it!
